One of the things that the list could do is to be a "notice board" where
members can indicate their current research interests and projects in case
others are working along the same lines. This may not be productive: on two
other lists I called for the members to tell us about their current projects
and there was virtually a nil response. I had better not say what the two
lists were but it was a disappointing result. People may recall that I
posted on my own major project at few weeks ago and one list member has
asked to see the finished product.

One of the things that I would like to see is more engagement with other
bodies of thought such as the work of Hayek and Popper which share some
objectives with Habermas (growth of knowledge, communication, rationality).
