I am interested in what you found to be interesting about Zizek's 
essay/review:

Surely in the biogenetic/AI future exactly the same ratios of power will 
re-assert themselves? Isn't this the harsh lesson of critical philosophy 
over the last 200 years? Good Hegelians realise the dialectic more in terms 
of Nietzsche's eternal recurrence. The outward form may change, but the song 
remains the same. Misery, power and oppression.

Why did Zizek write this piece? Why did you post the link? Why did I reply? 
Human nature, I suppose :-).
