What to make of it when Habermas, no trace of irony, expostulates as above? his seeming nominalist creditation of the ideological apparatus (UN charter, human rights, etc) of US foreign policy? is this what ken means by his post-hermeneuticism? what's the value of discourse founded on the faith of such illusory forms?
