as a authentic german-american my only problem with the list is that i remember the treatment accorded prof raul rodriguez,  ...perceiving his apparent english insufficiency, the ferocious malice and lying, by gary davis & co. and while scholarship must perforce bear its quota of these types, outside those narrow bounds, it's a bit hard to seriously engage platonic ideals in company with such, ...not to mention the chronic nausea provoked by the seeming perpetual mutual licking & stroking.  so i think it'd be a distinct favor to all us phil amateurs if gary davis & co would go back to their elite academic yahoo list and e-journal.
