Why "more"? >From a critical pt of v the Heidegger corpus appears continuous with Western theology. As you point out Theology should be grasped as an interpretation of Western dasein's mythopoeic interpretation of the mystery of beyng over the temporal span of cultural maturation. Thence, post modern dasein cast heideggerianism, Western theology's timeliest revision...simply the newest "old believer". More pointedly, the H-ian hermeneutic circle seems very close to the old "credo ut intelligam"; and the "already understood", to the old "belief/faith". Nor does it differ functionally, i.e. hermetic circle; MH, ni heideggerians admits the equality of theoretical logos,...employing the old hierarchy of sciences metaphor, precluding the possibility of dialectic. As it has ever been with Believers, you cannot address H's "thinking" critically, from outside the jargon. Bob Scheetz --- from list heidegger-AT-lists.village.virginia.edu ---
