I just came across the reference I was looking for the other day when I was
talking about teaching as a way to go on speaking:

That wasn't quite it.  The passage I was thinking of is from SS1924 and
quite moving I think:

Das sichaussprechen als sprechen-ueber. . .ist die Grundwseise des Seins
des Lebens, d.h. des Seins in einer Welt.  Wo kein sprechen ist, wo das
sprechen aufhoert, wo der Lebende nicht mehr spricht, sprechen wir von tod(
which in this case is other than Seins in einer Welt)."
