Henk, how resourcefull you are!! And how tempting this is for me. I am
tempted to launch into some argument here...as difficult as it may be to

argue with Aniela Jaffe. I suppose my approach with respect to the first

paragraph above would be to dig further into what Jung's view of symbol.

My approach to the second paragraph would be to ask what Aniela Jaffe
meant when she said that. I know it appears as though she is being very
straight
forward. But it seems to me that this is so much out of line with what
Jung
says over and over again. I will admit that this passage just blows my
mind.

Anyway, I suppose this helps toward giving Jung more of the benefit of
the doubt, and I should be supportive in that regard. Nice hearing from
you again.
