Dear Henk,

Thank you for your response, this really helps me understand where Heidegger
is going with poetry and language. It surprises me to hear him define
poetry as "taking the measure of being" Of course, he's not using measure in
the same way as the scientist. I would love to hear you say more about the
the way he is using measure.

It is clear to me that it isn't a large step from taking the measure of
being to building the house of being. If poetry is taking the measure of
being certainly measurement provides a structure by which Dasien can build.
