Dear Micheal,

Merleau-Ponty described consciousness and trhe body as two sides of the same lealeaf. In his last work "the Visisble and the Invisible" he was developing
a "Philosophy of the flesh", which was embodied experience. For Merleau-Ponty
consciousness and the body are inseparable. I don't think that it would be
a reach to say that in this interpretation you could read Dasien for "flesh".

How does this sound to you Micheal E?

Best regards,

Greg borgerson
