that's the trouble with you intellectuals playing fast and loose with real
stuff.  the baseball digest lists nobody between Hank Leiber (lifetime .286,
Cubs and Dodgers, retired '42) and Nemo Leibold (lifetime .266, Indians, both
Sox, Senators, retired '25).

and you can't claim you got this Leibniz character confused while translating
from the German.  probably some damn soccer player.
