...disembodied language is pretty deadly, no?
only got with time, effort, sensitivity ...

for the rest...gud gawd, so many variables
...when you think on it, it does seem impossible

pretty much everything,
even in the likeliest cases,
does seem to go by obliques.
hard as one tries to be direct
there seems an inexorable and difficult circling
...making it almost always better to say less, eh?

anyway, the thing fascinates
and rewards me
on a hundred levels
...really don't mind an occasional beat'n
...and god knows i try
