Subject: online discussion with author of "Heidegger's Children"

The Chronicle of Higher Education is sponsoring
a live, online discussion with Richard Wolin, author
of "Heidegger's Children: Hannah Arendt, Karl Lowith,
Hans Jonas, and Herbert Marcuse," a controversial
new book recently published by Princeton University Press,
on Thursday, January 17, at 1 p.m. U.S. Eastern time.
Mr. Wolin, whose writing about numerous thinkers has
attracted both fans and critics, is the subject of a profile
in the new issue of The Chronicle.

The Chronicle invites members of this list to read the article
about him, to post questions and comments for Mr. Wolin
(advance questions are encouraged and may be posted
now), and to join the discussion Thursday at:

http://chronicle.com/colloquylive/2002/01/wolin/

A transcript of the discussion will be posted at that address
after the chat.
