Saying that Dasein's essence is existence is different from saying that 
Dasein's essence exists, or that Dasein exists. After all, if Dasein's 
essence were an existent (soul, mind, matter, etc), Dasein's essence would 
exist too. So Heidegger obviously intends something else.
