The two faces, Being and Dasein: the great [arich]
one is arranged [aruch], the world proximally is a
totality, not the sum of present things; the small
[zer] one is alienated [zara], a man proximally is
inauthentic, and dispersed [zarah] into they-self.

To access the proximal, nearness, some fundamental
ways of being are necessary: sophia and phronesis.
Wisdom thinks history as a whole and folds it back
into the thrown present. Understanding discerns in
each part, even as not yet a part, what it may be.
