would you agree that some governments are more evil than
others? Is not evil a matter of degree and intention?

It seems that the Shia Muslim's in Iraq have a total
distrust for the Americans due to their long standing
military and economic support of the Bath Party lead by
Saddam Hussein. And so do the Khurds have a distrust for the
Americans: after all the CIA desk notes indicate that the
Iranian government was responsible for the chemical weapons
killing up to 5000 Khurds.

It seems that the US is quilty for supporting these 'tribal
war lords' and taking advantage of weak central governments
in these countries. Lots of examples come to mind: Chile,
Nicaraqua, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Vietnam.

Where the US confronts a country with a strong central
government it is forced to use diplomacy (or build a huge
arsenal of nuclear weapons).



Here is a recent example of Malthus' Thomistic Philosophy
(Social Darwinism) by the notorious former World Bank Chief
economist and US Treasury Secretary Lawrence H. Summers:

 "I think the economic logic behind dumping a load of toxic
waste in the lowest wage country is impeccable... because
foregone earnings from increased morbidity" are low. He adds
that "the underpopulated countries in Africa are vastly
underpolluted; their air quality is probably vastly
inefficiently low compared to Los Angeles.... "

didn't.  you are clearly right that we were misled years
ago.  now, however,
they apparently do.  if the point is that we are
propagandized, right on.  so
is every civilian populace on the planet.  all government is
evil and self
motivated.
