The Sony is a great little, very powerful radio. You can also tune into Voice of Russia, Voice of America, hear what the Chinese, the Bulgarians, the Hungarians, the Czechs, have to say, etc. The following occurred to me horizontally before getting up this morning: Die Medien sind in erster Linie eine Massenhysterieveranstaltung. Erst in zweiter Linie stellen sie Informationsquellen dar. Und drittens koennen sie sogar Anlass zum Denken sein. The media are in the first place an ongoing mass hysteria event. Only in the second place are they information sources. And thirdly they may even be occasion for thought.
