Yeh, Matthew, hammer on the nail.

At night, I can go to bed, or smoke a cigarette, or go out, or think
about freedom, Everything seems to affirm my subjectivity.

But I can only go to bed because there is a bed, etc. I can only
choose to go to the station, because the station is there.

The lady in Zollikon, who forgot her bag, because she would have been
thinking of her husband, can only forget the bag, because the bag is
on the chair. It's really very simple, but the subject nowadays
always gets in between, to turn everything upside down.
