The Nietzschean & Heideggerian Deatth of God has nothing to do with Christian & Jewish notions of the godhead: the death is the death of the dominance/power of the ideal/supersensible realm of metaphysics. In the face of this, both Nietzsche and Heidegger pursue their different though intertwined paths of thinking the overcoming of metaphysics.
