Why Stalin planned to attack Germany?  Because he knew what was coming.


Too easy. Russia was the enemy since Bismarck was put aside and France and Russia
had a treaty. From then on distrust grew. Please cross the Northsea, walk through Holland,
then immer gerade hinaus, and then you are in the middle of Europe. When you are in the middle,
there are 2 sides or more from where enemies can come. Every German government was obliged,
to procure security to their people. To any government, Russia would have been the enemy,
like France and England were the enemy.

But Hitler offered to Churchill to deal with Russia, but instead got a war 
declaration.

   Hard to tell.
   After the war he said: we slaughtered the wrong pig. So we got a cold
   war that happily, thanks to Stalin and Cruchev, remained cold. Now we still have
   East and West. There's no end to it. Therefore we must understand more,
   which also means give up commonplaces and overcome aversions.
   Hitler wanted an alliance with England and US. But they thought it better
   to let Russia and Germany do the fighting. Easy and understandable.
   The price: hypocrisy, that has grown and grown and is going to cost a lot.
   The war in Russia had a direct  effect on things in Western Europe.
   Juenger said: now peace and hang Hitler. 
   The murdering of whole villages as retaliation for one dead German, was
   Eastern praxis. The war also made possible the secret assassination of the
   Jews, secret because the Germans did not like to attack them openly Jews.
   This comes from Jerusalem, Jud, you know that.
   Besides: everybody cooperated: French, Russians, Dutch, English, Americans.
   (by not caring mostly)

   It's about time to ask why EUROPE committed suicide, instead of blaming 
   actors. Or we just remain weasles, to be played with. Rather a cat, not?
