How is that? There are lots of 'em. Arendt, Langer, Setting, and many many others....Leading questions.

E. Kant has had more effect on the 'world' than just about all other philosophers combined (overstatement but I had to make it). The primary reason for this is that "Critque of Pure Reason" supplies the 'grund' for just about all the modern sciences including Anthropology. Whereas Metaphysics and Epistemology are considered the 'science of the sciences', physics is a 'departmental science' (see Aristotle's works on that one). (eg. "The hand is an external brain....The mind is the 'hand of hands''., Aristotle). A science therefore which is purely mental, has for it's ultimate metaphor the 'hand' but it is the 'hand of hands' which handles our strongest convictions and beliefs, letting some be-leafs, and in-tent-shuuns go and 'taking to heart' some others...however there has to be some 'excercise of reason'...
