Rene, since John is more apt to hear you, please point out to him the 
fundamental error he is making when he says that war is not one way of 
mitsein (or are you "sympathetic" to that too?). That way, we can get the 
ABC's out of the way before starting basic grammar.

   I am not my brother's keeper. When he is talking to you, he is talking
   to you, and when i read i have to pay attention to that, as in any
   such dialogue situation. The objectivity you presuppose does not exist.
   My advice: You have to listen in another way to what he says: he's telling
   me fine things, and i let the faults glide away. Me, i have problems with
   YOUR reading.
