Perhaps, John, under the dominion of the gestell (and, MichaelE, I still
quiveringly, maintain for now that this also means: capitalismus), to be is
to be a consumer, and a consumate consumer at that, or, failing that, some
thing to be consumed, made for consumption, dying of consumption... or is
this a dark presumption? The consummation and summation of western
metaphysics terminating in every thing being a consumable, and only that.

Eat the one you love.
