Of course the US simply ignored UN sanctions, and it is now importing almost 0.6 million barrels of oil now. If the charge is ridiculous, then why is the US spending hundreds of billions of dollars on destroying Iraq? How many contracts has it awarded to oil firms like Haliburton? How come it is not bringing food, medicines, and necessities for the liberated Iraqi's? I suppose I will get some serving of delusional thinking again from you. Now you are going to pipe some 'altruistic' reason for the destruction, right? Okay, the fact that 20% of the worlds oil is located within a few feet of the surface of the easiest reaches of the desert has nothing to do with the US blowing up the city of Bhagdad last April and March.
