Well what I meant was 'ecological' services; these are intrinsic values,
versus the instrumental, or extrinsic values, of the 'set up'. The hydro dam
will last only so long, anyway.

Sure. They were living in the forests of Burma and found some cattle which
had never been domesticated. These were the original cows. Now though we can
only find these in wilderness parks. Italy is making one. Here we don't need
to make the parks because they already exist. But we need to designate more
parks.
