"Bypassing freedom"... isn't it begging the question? Does freedom exists as
implied, i.e. is there free choice? Or the free choice idea is just an
ordinary mass-control ideology? (A peculiarly pharisaical one, since it puts
forward a claim which it does not and it is not able to follow in its
practice.)

As far as I know, the feeling of freedom, which exists when an individual is
behaving anarchically ("I do as *I* wish", says he/she), this is caused by
emotional tendencies stimulated by an endocrine imbalance.
