Yes he discusses this. A stream is always different but the same. I suspect
what we are searching for here is called 'similarity'. An interesting term
because things which are similar are both different and the same, or
identical and different.

Thus most things are actually - if not in reality - 'unities' possessing
some similarities and some differences. It is only a matter of scale. Having
discovered 'dark energy' recently, I suspect that it's power is to 'unfold'
the manifold in the evolving universe which has been dated to be about 13.7
billion years old, plus or minus a 100,000 years. Anyway we have lots of
time ahead since the universe is still expanding rapidly, and the dark
energy is very strong, opposing gravitational acceleration, etc. And we can
make gasoline out of excrement, even lawn clippings.
