Marilynn, re-minds me of Heraclitus with the fragments that say that
"lightning steers ta panta" and that "one wise steers ta panta"; I have
steered this notion from an errant memory somewhat compromised by too many
glasses of wine, but the business of sophe and lightning (Zeus?) guiding ta
panta (the all) however they are more precisely interpreted, makes your
statement resonate but not yet shake or shatter. How can one part
(lightning/wisdom, if it is) of ta panta steer the whole (cosmos/universe,
if it is) of ta panta, unless there is no particularity being spoken here
(nor whole)? We could make over logos to be the Same as lightning and sophe,
but that has all kinds of re-percussions too shattering and loud for my
delicate ears and hears. Goodnight.
