Michael, The gathering here is more than paronomasia and it is related to the gathering of the _logos_, at least in the sense that Heidegger thinks Gestell as a "constellation of being" with a certain ontological structure revolving about 'stellen'. And the 'stellen' part of 'herstellen' suggests a setting up in a position, a stand, e.g. 'Stell dich dorthin' 'Stand over there'.
