This unanswering answer, this flitting use of quotes ("habitat")

habitare = Wohnen, like in ...dichterisch wohnet der Mensch.
The turning from scientific (here biologist) terminology to an
ontological, is one of the main points of Heideggerian
philosophy. The quotes are there - Heidegger himself often does
it - to indicate the possibility of a turning. The idea is that
the reader picks it up, and tries for himself. That is called
   'responding' in reading Heidegger.

to hide ambiguity, this claim of "insult" to avoid the question,

'Why do you insult me?' is the real answer Heidegger gave to the question.

A real answer to questions regarding his engagement 1933/34 he gave to
the student Buchner. I also brought them, but you never reacted. In fact,
you were never interested in "Heidegger the Nazi" (quotes) - until your
own position was severely undermined. Now your despicable strategy becomes
visible for all who want to see.

 is the last straw.

This is so childish, Anthony (and MichaelP), that your motives to be here,
appear in a shady light. Like yer motivation to step out now in such a
   theatrical way.

I've been on this list 7 years and never have I encountered such a lack of
listening, and lack of response. And I've seen less preaching and
pontificating on the most religious of groups. As far as I can tell, what is
advocated here in the name of Heidegger includes repeatedly clipping out
parts of posts that answer subsequent questions and then criticizing for
lack of answer, being more critical of an ad than a beheading, dubbing
terrorism "manly," throwing around accusations of glibness and then refusing
to answer an inquiry into that very accusation, criticizing the citing of
texts as mere robotic repetition despite obvious reasons the texts were
quoted, demanding that others address cited articles while responding to
ones cited by others by merely calling them "cute", and a lack of ability to
follow through a point as long as it takes. I used to learn at least by
contrast here, but now there's not even that. Where there's no listening,
there's no discourse. So it's been a nice 7 years, but it's time to add my
voice to the chorus of the silent.

See you on heidegger-dialognet, where there's still listening.
