Hey, just a damn minute, there. What is this? Scientific Method? Hypothesis
testing? _Mouthwash_ was *my* experiment and it was APPROPRIATED
(appropriately enough, since it was an experiment about appropriation). But
it was an experiment that, in my judgement, was appropriate to the
list-proposal list because it proposed a model of an alternative way to
think about a list -- even if it *was* hackneyed. (For close readers, I'll
reiterate that the "small literary magazine" designation was one I raised
and then shot full of "post" holes. I-R-O-N-I-C, isn't it?)

My chronology has John Young's salty word play getting out of hand (to my
taste) and Tom Blancato objecting to the implications of JY's words. Lisa
Rogers seems to have objected to TB's explicit restatement of JY's word-spun
seafaring rape imagery. Malgosia bemoaned the anti-dialogic character of the
whole exchange just hours before a conversation broke out. See what happens
when we try to explicate the implicit?

Would somebody please explain?
