Date: Thu Jul 6 21:47:26 1995 From: Tom Blancato <tblancato-AT-envirolink.org> Subject: What happened? What happened? The discussion just stopped. Why? I think it's because we sort of made it through some of the initial spaces that were of interest. I was done articulating my points, perhaps the same goes for others. Perhaps we found ourselves, beknownst only perhaps to some of us, at the edge of something, the transgression (non-moralistic sense of transgression) would mean experimentation. I say, onward ho! How's about it, Malgosia? Care to set up some experimental lists? It would be fishy if *all* of suggestions or questions about experiments were fully redirected to "other places", it's having already been tried/done. And grist for my mill. A rough form: Try a coupla lists (if it's not too much trouble) and then come back to this list to reflect on the process from a certain "outside". Or would it be too artificial? We would have to resolve, with grim determination, to participate on that list as though we were doing so independently of it's inception or conception in this list. This makes for interesting logics of the fold, leakages from "outsides", and so forth. Well, just a few thoughts.
