Subject:  the marxism list is dead


Some kind of fix is required.  The totally open unmoderated no
'censorship' policy has at last brought us to a sorry state indeed,
given the people that are abusing it.

If we make another list, we can use expulsion on the new one and let
all the reasonable people move to the new one, leaving some behind to
carry on as they like.  [We would have to find a moderator for the
old list.]

I am receiving nearly every hour another reasonable request for some
kind of expulsion policy to get rid of the totally destructive few
that are effectively preventing discussion from occuring. All of the
comoderators have also agreed, I believe, at least 3/4 have been very
clear about it.  

One way or another, I am not alone on marxism list in concluding that
we must do something right away to defend *our own space to speak*.
