"Intolerance" and even "ad hominems" can be tolerated, IMHO.

When someone calls you, for example:

(a) a "revisionist" and *then* says "Death to all revisionists!";
(b) a "fascist" and then supports the killing of fascists;

etc.
a boundary has been passed. Given the fact that these same people are 
politically aligned with groups that *have* killed "fake leftists", these 
have to be taken as serious threats.

This kind of labelling and these death threats occur *frequently* in these 
people's posts. No-one would be comfortable *debating* any topic in this 
environment.

It is not a question of merely having one's "dialogic space disrupted".
