Lisa replies:  I suppose it depends on what you mean by "moderated". 
I'd like to be spoon liason for marxism2, and the extent of the
_technical_ moderation would _not_ be sorting through and approving
or rejecting every post, just using a technical action to boot out
those who seem to be destroying the opportunity for others to speak. 

I think that there is a need for a forum that is calmer, with less
attacking, so that those who prefer and work better in such an
environment can have a place to talk.

If it becomes very high volume, I don't see that in itself as a
problem.

I hope this is not too much to ask.
