Dear Wynship,

Although several members of the spoon collective found your proposal
compelling and very interesting, the consensus is that we cannot devote
the adequate time to develop the project/list/seminar at this time.
Some members (including myself) felt that the discussion on list-proposals
didn't generate the kinds of threads necessary to sustain a seminar email
list. Please do not take this as a criticism of you or your ideas.  We
simply feel that the conceptualization of the project is incompatible
with the broader concerns of the spoon collective as we continue the
process of re-visioning ourselves.
