Lyotard makes the connection between sublime and the unconscious as well as
beautiful and consciousness in his Inhuman (p.33). More specifically, he says
that there is an analogy between primary-secondary process resembling that
between sublime and beautiful. Of course, one can retort that analogies do not
amount to such simplifications and equations, but. . . . I am waiting for some
reactions to that.
