greetings!

i thank you, emmanouil, for your quick answer. i have the
lyotard-reader in front of me, this is the only translation i have
ever seen. i don't know what you, emmanouil, that a part of DISCOURS,
FIGURE has been translated in the INHUMAN. i have the translation,
thus if you can clarify yourself, i would be grateful.

it's a fascinating topic you have, the relation between lyotard and
lacan. the past weeks i have read the englisch translation of lacans
ETHICS OF PSYCHOANALYSIS, which contains lectures on DAS DING. lacan
puts DAS DING in relation with kant.
i use in my dissertation also heidegger, and perhaps lacan. at first
i thought i would use freud, but i think that lyotards vision on
freud is made by lacan.

i'm interested mainly in the esthetics of the sublime, but i think
that for example every poem is an political act, because its presents
itself on the "market" of the polis, it presents itself in public; it
can be read. writing is an occurence (ereignis), just as reading
happens. this means the lost of the author for the reader, and for
the author the lost of the reader. they are transcendental absent for
each other. because a poem is written in time it lose the now in
which it is written in the reading of a poem, the reading that always
comes to late.

i like to discus the sublime, and relation with das ding by lacan.
tell me more about your topic!

goodbye, arjan.
