I mean, since the Cerisy Colloquium back in 1982 when Lacoue-Labarthe started his introduction with: "Let's Talk"? I haven't kept up with this scuffle, but it seemed as if Lacoue-Labarthe was attempting to break the silence and open a line of communication. Does anyone know if he and Lyotard ever found a way to talk? I'm writing an essay on "listening" and have used this colloquium as an example of trying to work past a differend (though a little differently than Ronell did in her 1989 article). So before I wrap it up, I'm trying to find out what ever happened with those two. Any info would be appreciated--on the list or privately. Thanks in advance. ddd -- DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD D D D D.
