Subject: Request for info

Hi,

If I'm correct this is the email adress of a Lyotard discussion list.

We are trying to reach Mr. Lyotard himself, in connection with a TV
documentary.

Does anyone know where Mr. Lyotard teaches for the moment. I have
contradictory information on this score,

Thanks for any assistance,

Michel

>>>TechnoCalyps is a projected three-part television documentary that will
>>>examine how technology is potentially challenging the very definition of
>>>what it means to be 'human'. The first part examines 'bleeding edge'
>>>technologies and scientific breakthroughs and research, which would
>>>suggest possible 'transhuman' and even 'posthuman' futures; part 2 looks
>>>at how various human sciences and social movements may react and cope
>>>with this challenge; finally in part three we will inquire into the
>>>fundamental meaning of the technological quest, both for humans and the
>>>history and future of civilisation.

The project is produced by Itinera Films (Belgium) and co-produced by
Epidem (Finland). The documentary is financially supported by the European
Union (Media Programme, 16/9 Programme, Eurimages) and the Flemish
government (Flemish Film Fund), as well as support from broadcasters such
as VRT (formerly: BRTN, Belgium) & YLE (Finland) with other broadcasters
having indicated interest through pre-sales (i.e. NRK, Norway and ORF,
Austria) or other methods (RTBF Belgium, ZDF Germany, Premi=E8re , Canal+
Spain). The production will be distributed by Films Transit Inc. (Canada).
The director is Frank Theys (frank.theys-AT-skynet.be), assisted for the
interviews with script-writer Michel Bauwens (mbauwens-AT-skynet.be).
