Subject: Re: Dude

Looks like we are getting enough interest to give this a go! Shall we
begin Monday October 26? This will give us some time to (re)read the
book and for me to drum up some more individuals interested in this
activity. I will go over the book and split it up in appropriate
sections over the weekend and then will post a tentative schedule
(subject to list debate, of course) on Monday the 19th. I will also put
together an unofficial website where I will archive posts and post a
schedule. I will share what I have once I put it together.

It has also been suggested that "Le Differend" be discussed in a similar
format following the discussion of "The Postmodern Condition". It may
be after the New Year before we get to it, but unless there is another
suggestion shall we tentatively plan on that work as a followup?

Please share your suggestions and comments so we can some to a consensus
before we begin.
