Thanks to you and others whose contribution was graciously acknowledged
several days ago the List is flourishing.

I had the pleasure of reading posts since 17 Nov. in one batch.

One of the best things about Lyotard was that although he was diligent
in attention to philosophers of history, he did write about the world
he lived in; i.e. the 1970's of PMC.

Perhaps he left unpublished material on the world we live in since the
Russian conversion to capitalism.
