Lois, I think you are right--the relation between Wittgenstein and 
Lyotard is obvious, and equally obvious is that Lyotard appropriates 
Wittgenstein to his own ends. I think the missing piece here is Austin, 
who equally stands behind Lyotard, particularly in PMC. I think the last 
time I was active on this list we were discussing Austin a bit, so I 
won't rehash that lineage.
