Subject: Time out from Le Differend..

Hello All,

Reviewing old posts, I think Eric gave a good description of why
Lyotard wrote Le Differend.

Still trying to figure out what L. said language is and does.

In the meantime:

    MAGIC WORLD

a tumult of defeated dreams,
monstrosities and disasters
lamenting gods depart
moving figures mirrored in a glass

a lantern on a moonless night
memorize the countless stars
sea shells containing echoes
Penelope sleeps

press crusted leaves against the eyes
...breathing musk
the goddess in the wood
blind with weeping

know poetry and dreams
beauty's silken bond
the secret center of the World
the flux of all humanity

still as a stone
let us leave God alone
