I am also sorry of hear of your own loss. 

In some strangs way, I think of you as a dear friend. One who I have
never met outside of this space.  It is good to hear from you again.  

I know I have been silent here lately, but witnessing the stupidity
around in response to the the tragedy makes me want to write again.

The only thing I can do is raise my pen (metaphorically) as others raise
their swords (unfortunately, not metaphorically)
