I am a CompLit and Philosophy student at Emory University in Atlanta. I have just opened myself to the sides of Lyotard other than The PoMo Condition. The essay in Towards the Postmodern entitled "Prescription" is particularly interesting since I will be doing my thesis on the subject of the body-- how particular or singular bodies negotiate with collective or universal bodies of which the latter may or may not be a member. This, and then, too-- how more or less abstract bodies 'communicate' with more or less 'concrete' bodies. Does anyone know of any other texts of his (or others) I should pursue? (I will be reading The Differend with Geof Bennington later this year). And is anyone interested in reading "Prescription" with me?
