Subject: Osama


All,

After viewing the TV camera image of  the fire-ball emanating from the
second WTC tower, in real time, I wondered if Osama dared remain in
Afghanistan waiting for a second assault.by the U.S.

I thought of Indonesia, and, checking the map, found it was at a distance
similar to that of many trans-Atlantic flights.  Osama could have shaved his
beard, replaced turban with a beanie, used fake passport etc., but nearest
commercial flight to Indonesia would probably have been from another
country.

A charter flight with an experienced and sympathetic pilot and plane  from
an Islamic nation airline would also pose difficulties.

Ability to continue his terrorist operations from Indonesia might be
extremely risky.

Perhaps the most we can hope for is that Osama will succumb to megolmania,
think he is indispensable, refuse the suicidal approach he teaches his
disciples, avoid certain risks and thereby increase the probability of his
death or capture.
