What is the connection between the Bewes text and Baudrillard? What is 
the connection between this and the proposal that Baudrillard engages in 
hyperbole?

Perhaps I should state that I don't read and never have read Baudrillard 
as 'cynical' and that I accept that the roots of his style, is 
descended, obviously, from his 'borrowing' from situationism and related 
events, his trajectory is well established in the early texts 'mirror of 
production', 'system of objects' amoungst others, the excess of style 
which marks his work, is well  established at this point. The traces 
exist, just as the nostalgia does, for the supposed end of the symbolic, 
always the escape from the economic. I always wanted to see him return 
to the economic... occasionally I see traces of this in his texts but 
not often enough

That is not to say there is nothing on state terrorism and the terror related to the state and power. Just very little that i've identifed that directly addresses those hopeless acts of terror inflicted on a human population, such as the 911 event.

Unfortunately, both religious and irreligious are hooked on sacrificial
