After a meeting I attended last night - discussing attendence at the 
Copenhagen event in December - I discussed the Spinoza question you asked 
with Nat (whose a Spinoza expert amoungst other things) and he suggested 
that the Theory out-of-bounds text 'The New Spinoza' is worth 
reading....for a recent review of theorists who are addressing related 
Spinozist issues "...but only if you are prepared to read the source texts 
as well..."(Nat)
