Subject: Re: fear and addiction


My concern is not with the birthrate here, but rather with 
the age of the planet's population.  Remember how clearly and 
critically you thought at the age of fifteen?  Remember how 
brave you were?  Remember how macho?  Defiant?  Quick to 
react?  Opinionated?  Bleak about future prospects?  
Appreciative of diverse opinions?  

It seems clear also, by the way, that the major political 
project for the next hundred years or more (given that there 
are more than "five years stuck on [our] eyes")will involve 
integrating Islamic and European cultural interests, 
period.
