"Terror and Liberalism" is a book by Paul Berman in which he finds similarities between the Islamic terrorists and hard-core rightists of the U.S. and other democracies.

He compares terrorists with 20 Century fascists, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, etc., speaks of a conflict of ideas which cannot be won with weapons only, but with change of beliefs.
